What is an Isagenix Cleanse Day?

The basic purpose of a Cleanse Day is to consume significantly less calories for a period of one to two days per week (a total of four days per month) while drinking Cleanse for Life® and other Cleanse Day-approved snack options.

How to do a Cleanse Day

Prepare your body first
Follow the calendar and make sure you’ve finished at least two Shake Days before beginning a Cleanse Day. On a Cleanse Day, your body functions best when it is fully fuelled and prepared to begin the detoxification process.
Have an IsaLean shake for dinner the night before
The cleansing process begins earlier if you have an IsaLean shake for dinner the night before your Cleanse Day. The shake digests in just half an hour, whereas food can take hours to digest.
Drink lots of water
On Cleanse Days, drink plenty of water. Toxins and pollutants are released into the bloodstream and are then removed. Water aids in the removal of toxins from the body. We can also mistakenly believe we are hungry when we are actually thirsty, so water can help you eat less.
Avoid high-intensity activity
On Cleanse Days, high-intensity activity is not encouraged. Keep things light by going for a stroll or taking a yoga session.
Keep busy
Keep busy and stay away from the kitchen. Clean the house, get out and about, take the dog for a walk, go shopping (stay away from food courts) and if you’re at work, enjoy the feeling of mental clarity – a great time for your sales pitch or presentation!
